 On September 15th, 2007 Vegan Divine had their first booth at The Sustainable September Expo event located in Kirkland, WA. The energy of the expo was high, as many sustainable companies demonstrated their values in conjunction with business vs. environmental ethics. Vegan Divine presented an array of animal and eco-friendly gifting options that many took interest in discovering! The master of ceremony, John Bruce, of the acclaimed television series, “While You Were Out”, was welcomed by the Kirkland Chamber with a vegan gourmet gift basket designed at Vegan Divine. While interviewing Vegan Divine at the sustainable event for the City of Kirkland broadcasting, John Bruce expressed his surprisingly delightful experience of all the wonderful, cruelty-free and absolutely delicious gourmet products that were presented in the gift basket he received.  As attendees interacted and learned more about how the vegan lifestyle and vegan gifting choices are both animal-friendly and sustainable at the same time, all were encouraged to enter themselves to win Vegan Divine’s “Morning Glory”, an organic vegan gift basket, that was being raffled at this event. Interestingly enough, the lucky winner, “Sharon Rodman”, from the City of Kirkland, turned out to be a practicing VEGAN! She was thrilled to receive this sustainable vegan gift, in perfect alignment with her lifestyle choices. Congratulations to you Sharon!! |
 With beautiful and dedicated volunteers Lynn Christensen (Coordinator) and Brenda overseeing smooth operations for the expo, Vegan Divine Sisters took great pride in displaying their handcrafted and tastefully presented organic vegan gift baskets.
